Service Description

Learn the use of wire for creating frames, support and structure in millinery. Students will learn how to select, shape, join and cover wire to create structured millinery forms and internal supports. The unit explores traditional wirework techniques and their application in both functional and creative millinery construction.

Enrolment Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received. Class sizes are limited and places are allocated on a first-paid, first-served basis. Course Fees Course fees are payable in full at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Students enrolling in the complete Foundation Program will receive the advertised package discount. Cancellations and Transfers * More than 21 days before the course commences: Full refund less a $50 administration fee, or transfer to another available course. * 7–21 days before the course commences: Transfer to another available course may be arranged. Refunds are not available. * Less than 7 days before the course commences: Refunds and transfers are not available. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your enrolment to another person before the course begins by notifying Melbourne School of Millinery in writing. Course Changes Melbourne School of Millinery reserves the right to alter course dates, tutors or venues where necessary. If a course is cancelled, students will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer to another available course. Missed Classes Courses are progressive, and each session builds on the previous one. Refunds or make-up classes are not available for missed sessions. Completion of Projects Every effort is made to assist students in completing their projects during class. Depending on individual pace and experience, some work may need to be completed at home. Health and Safety Students are expected to follow all safety instructions and use workshop equipment responsibly. Photography Photographs may be taken during classes for promotional purposes. Please advise your tutor before the course if you do not wish to appear in photographs. Privacy Personal information is collected solely for the administration of courses and communication with students. Your information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.
